About Us

The Happiness Through Horses’ program gives underprivileged children the opportunity to work with horses and in return fosters self-esteem, increase decision making skills, and increase self-respect as well as respect for others.
Our Mission is to build communities of people and resources dedicated to the well being of the youth in Colorado through the equine world.
Our goal is to assist in teaching young people to make positive changes and decisions and to avoid the pitfalls associated with their current direction.
We partner with horse facilities and trainers to refer youth in need and at risk to programs to create confidence, self esteem, respect for self and others, and trust to empower them to lead a life of joy and success.
